48 was Batman: Arkham Asylum. Arkham City was a big disappointment by comparison, Ruined all the great bits about Asylum.

My 47 is a rail shooter.

House of the Dead?

Nope.

One of the Resident Evil shooters? (can't remember what they were called)

Gah, completely missed the discussion thread >_>.

50th - Illusion of Gaia (SNES, 1994)
Starting my list off with the second entry in the Quintet "trilogy", Illusion of Gaia is a pretty good RPG that had a bit of flaws which prevents it from gaining higher spots like the two other entries in the trilogy. While having an amazing history, relatively high difficulty for a RPG and some pretty good level and character design, Illusion of Gaia was also an extremely linear and slow paced RPG, which set it apart from the trilogy's open ended gameplay and fast paced adventure and exploration.

Illusions of time was such a great game I really feel bad for anyone who missed out on it since imo it was the best thing with the word Enix on it :D dunno what the heck happened to them when they got square into them.

Why not check me out on youtube and help me on the way to 2k subs over at www.youtube.com/stormcloudlive

Making this list is one of the most difficult things I have ever done. No clue what will be number 47.

#47 -?
This entry will be one of the oldest platform games in existence. No, it's not the one people immediately think about (though that is also in my list), but it was a very popular one in it's time and really put it's publisher, which today is still one of the biggest, on the map.

Not Mario Bros or Super Mario Bros then?

Sonic the Hedgehog? Mega Man?

#48 - Soccer, this sports game on NES is nowhere near the best in it's genre. In fact, it is really a mediocre game, if you consider the technical aspects. The thing is though, that I played this so many times, it's uncountable. Together with my cousin, we'd spend hours upon hours at grandma's house playing this together. It was the best time, all while some birthday was celebrated downstairs...

My 48th game is Dig Dug, I use to play it a lot at my aunt's house when I got the chance to go over there as a child. But it wasn't just dig dug it was a lot of games 80s and early 90s arcade games on some system. It was a while back so yeah I forgot which console I played it on. All I really remember is having fun making enemies burst and my cousins and me fighting over the game.

Best thing about the game was this.

I was thinking Pitfall...but Atari aren't really that big anymore, so nevermind.

Pitfall was Activision, not Atari. So there's the answer.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

#48. New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Wii)

Top notch 2D platforming, great powerups (I loved to slide as a penguin!), that's already more than enough for me to love this game but the addition of a multiplayer makes this title even more enjoyable. It allowed me to finally play through a game with my boyfriend and even though we killed each other many times during the course of our playthrough, we managed to keep the shouting at a minimum.

Signature goes here!

#47 Hint: It's a strategy game with a broken character that looks like Ben Kenobi.
