29) Star Wars: Battlefront II (PS2 / 2005 / Third-Person Shooter)

My favourite Star Wars game ever. It doesn't stick too closely to the canon. Though the story mode is great fun, the real draw for me was in Galactic Conquest - slowly taking over the galaxy by eliminating one rebel alliance scum at a time. And then I got it on PC and online is great too.

28) Just Cause 2 (PC / 2010 / Open World Action Adventure)

This game is so much fun it's incredible. There is an enormous world to explore, and a multitude of ways in which to do it, from different altitudes, at different speeds, destroying everything you see as you go on your way. Never has mindless fun been more mindlessly fun than here.

Clue for #27: Peaceful protest, now with fission bombs.

28th -

The Spectre's Call was my first Layton game in anticipation of Miracle Mask. I will say that I thought that this game would be better, but it was still a great game.

I thought that the story was pretty decent and the puzzles were above great. Of course, some puzzles were quite annoying, but of the three Layton games I have played, Miracle Mask did it worse. What I really like about this game, is its soundtrack which is amazing. For a game like this, there is not much to say about it, I can just end this with saying that it was a very enjoyable game and I had very much fun with it.

Clue for 28: One of the male characters is named after a flower and one of the female characters has modelled in Playboy.

witcher or witcher 2.
Dandelion, and Triss

I'll guess witcher 2 because the model which she actually modelled for playboy was witcher 2.

I'm way behind haha... by like 14 games.

Yep, spot on!

Just catch up when you get a chance. Maybe with a massive clue post

Edit: Too late!

System Shock 2?

correct.

28: The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings (PC, also on 360)

Sequel to the unexpected hit RPG from CDProjekt, this was a real showcase for both Western RPGs and PC gamers everywhere. Whilst the mature storyline and characters follow on from the original games (which are in turn based on the fantasy books by Andrzej Sapkowski), the technology and gameplay has undergone a major overhaul. Firstly, CDProjekt created their own engine for this game, allowing them to utilise modern effects and push even the greatest of PCs to their limits. The gameplay was modernised so that it required more skill than in the original as well as adding some interesting new features such as traps and ranged weaponry to keep things interesting.

Like before, the story is heavily influenced by the player (probably more so than most WRPGS though) and the path through Chapter 2 can play out very differently depending on your earlier decisions. The characters also have amazing depth to them, although this probably isn't that suprising considering they've featured in 7 books already. Overall, an amazing RPG with a somewhat annoying cliff hanger ending that has me desperate for more!
