I pre-ordered it from a UK retailer and I'm not even sure what pre-order bonus I'm getting...hopefully it'll be a pleasant surprise like the free Gorillaz album I got with Borderlands 2!

Promethean vision says hi to camo. Not to mention the ability to go completely invisible with active camo which has been in Halo multipalyer for a minute now (since 3). Even though those ads are cool in the way they portray the camo, I don't think it will have any real impact. 

I actually think all places who have Halo 4 for pre order each have different skins as a bonus.

I really don't see the big deal with this.

Not having a go or anything because it's totally your choice, but you should consider checking around for pre-order bonuses unless there's something particularly enticing about the retailer you're buying it from.

I was going to pre order PSABR from Zavvi because it gives rewardz points (which can be used for money off future purchases).  But then I found out Game were offering custom cover + the 20 character skins which is something I'm interested in, so for the loss of 38p off my next Zavvi order I changed to Game.

But, it's up to you!

I pre-ordered on newegg and they does not even have a bonus. Doesn't even bother me because of how lacking the preorder bonuses are.

Others have said it. These bonuses won't confer any competitive advantage. Now a bag of Doritos is a different story entirely. For anyone who isn't hip to this yet. Doritos bags will come with double experience points codes.

Walmart, GameStop, Best Buy, and Target all have armor skin pre order bonuses in North America. I haven't checked any other stores, but I am sure there are more.

The day that offer applies to the Doritos Tacos the triad will be complete Doritos, Taco Bell and Microsoft.

This all day. Isn't all of that "exclusive" shit only really timed exclusive anyway? It's not even anything that I won't be able to get at some point. I've got a copy coming from Newegg for $45 and free shipping. Now I just have to hit up Walmart or something at midnight to get the other copy I need.
