There are like what? 5 Halo games on Xbox 360? Yearly releases help keep franchises in the public eye.

Gran Turismo doesn't have that luxury. Only Prologue and GT5. A GT6 is guaranteed to outsell V. With the bigger PS3 install base and lower cost entry point for PS3. 

There is something that Gran Turismo has over Halo, it is still king of its genre.(sorry Forza). 

GT is about legs. GT6 won't have the chance to beat GT5 on PS3.Earliest release would be Q3 2013, so add another year of GT5 sales to it's current sales. PS4 would cut GT6's legs short.

You may have a point. They only do 2 GT games per console anyway so its unlikely they would do a 3rd for PS3.

Halo Reach is overtracked as proved again and again. Infact Halo series overall is overtracked on VGZ accordiung to latest shipment from MS which includes digital sales. The better question will be if GT5 can outsell Halo 3?

This is my answer too. If GT6 were to release at the same time as Halo 4 then I believe Halo would end up with at least 2x higher sales

No. Halo 4 will sell more than 3 and Reach. People really are thinking this game is big.

1. Halo is overtracked here in this site... I bet it's Reach.

2. At the end of this generations GT5 will outsell Reach (I can't wait the the cry).

3. Halo 4 will sell better than Reach.

4. GT5 will reach 11 million... maybe more than GT4.

5. I can't talk about GT6 because it doesn't exists.
