Ok... so they're saying that it retains the 1080p resolution AND the 60fps... of the consoles versions.
But... somehow, the graphics must still be better... is what you're saying?

¬_¬

No, I'm calling that statement as a whole into question for the simple fact that its stating "both" as being 1080/60 FPS when there are only a handful of 360 games that are native 1080p and they are mostly either 2D or use simple Xbox1 level graphics.

I think that writer was just stating that arbitrarily, because I actually "looked" for the information on the PS3 and 360 versions running at 1080p 60FPS and I found nothing that states this.

But it's the only link from this whole thread that mentions the resolution of the previous versions at all.  For all the links you had not a one mentioned the resolution of the previous versions, just the resolution of the Wii U version most likely because it was included in a press release.  I've looked and I couldn't find anything definitive about the resolution/FPS of the PS360 versions of puddle either, so this is the only evidence we have for one way or the other.

The neogaf link stated it. I posted that on the first page. What makes that link more valid than mine?

The fact that nowhere in the Neogaf report's source, is it mentioned?

And where is Joystiq's source?

I suppose the only way to truly know would be to ask Neko Entertainment.

Neogaf's link of yours is from their forums, not from an actual professional gaming news website. Joystiq's article mentions Neko's QA manager Sébastien Chipot-Delys, and actually provides a quote from him.

You know who to write to now.

Now, if you could be more careful with YOUR reporting in the future, that'd be at least a lesson learned from all this. =P

SJoystiq has quotes of the dev stating that the PS3 and 360 version are both 1080p 60 FPS?

You've provided a more than generous helping of bad-faith for my day as it is.
If you want to believe that Puddle will be a graphical beast on the Wii-U, and that it's times and times better than the PS360 versions, be my guest.

For what we know, someone here mentioned twice that he was playing the game, and that it runs in 1080p/60fps. The report on Joystiq states the same. But you will only believe what you want.  There is nothing more I can do for you.

Huh? You lost me.

The only thing I alluded to is that it will be graphically superior to the 360/PS3 verion. As far as what the Wii U can do goes, it will be nothing.

Why is this news to you? Isn't it a simple puzzle game? There are PS360 games that run in 1080p 60hz. I would expect no less of the Wii U.

First post with nothing more to say than "so, the PS3 and 360 can do it to"? Well, you certainly aren't bothered by this news at all.

Where have you witnessed that the PS3 and 360 version run at 1080p 60 FPS? To my knowledge, their are no 360 games that run at native 1080p.

i am sorry. my English is far from perfect (not my first language, so i have a excuse)

but lilbroex, from what i can see from your profile, you're from the states... where is your excuse when the right word was used in the original quote...

i, and others, are trying to read forum threads in a foreign language, and that type of error can make it a lot harder... its not the first time you are misunderstood because your own fault.

on-topic - if people read half the threads the OP creates and believe 1/3 of what its written there... this is beyond expectable, so i am with kain in this one.

Your late. He showed that there were a few(very few) games that ran 1080p on the 360 though they were about as graphically intensive as Tetris.

That is why I said, "to my knowledge", because I was unaware of any at that time. I didn't say there weren't any at all, just that I knew of none.

Sure, because Sonic 4 is as graphically intensive as Tetris. We all know that.

"About". I was pointing to the fact that 90% of them are simple 2D games.

Hell, I'm sure the Wii could have run Sonic 4 at 1080p if Nintendo released the firmware lock.

This may be the wrong thread to ask this, but I will anyway.

Has anyone played both this game and Fluidity? I really loved Fluidity. This looks really similar. If it is good, I will give it a shot.

I am starting to think you two live in different realities.

His reality is based on fact and accuracy, what's yours like?

Oh shit.  I must live in a reality of total chaos, is he took the fact and accuracy one!

xD

You do undestand what an "analogy" is right. There is a different between saying someting is like someting and something is "about" like it. That was not intented to be a absolute claim....

Are you saying this one is not?

Yes. This actually has physics and various shader effects.
