I'm not the tpic of this thread. Puddle and its running 1080p "and 60 on two screens is. I've yet to see anyone post anything stating specificaly that the PS3 and 360 run at native 1080/60 FPS.

Don't care about all the other junk in this derailed thread. Instead I'm wondering what the Wii U dispalys on the second screen. Is it the exact same video, a map, or something else?

It seems to be showing exactly what you are seeing on the screen.

So it hardly uses any extra resources. Basically the only thing this thread proves is the Wii U can handle simple ports from the HD twins without a loss in graphics fidelity. Cool, but not impressive like you are trying to make it.

Like I made it out to be? I haven't made it out to be anything more than the best version of the game.

Then how has this thread lasted 13 pages? Everyone agrees the Wii U version is the best form of the software but you are arguing it is better by a lot while others think it is hardly better. It combines the features from the Vita version and PS3 version. Seriously does it matter if the Wii U version is 15% better or just 5% better?

You're asking the wrong person that.

No, I'm asking you. After all this is your thread.

Ok... so they're saying that it retains the 1080p resolution AND the 60fps... of the consoles versions.
But... somehow, the graphics must still be better... is what you're saying?

¬_¬

No, I'm calling that statement as a whole into question for the simple fact that its stating "both" as being 1080/60 FPS when there are only a handful of 360 games that are native 1080p and they are mostly either 2D or use simple Xbox1 level graphics.

I think that writer was just stating that arbitrarily, because I actually "looked" for the information on the PS3 and 360 versions running at 1080p 60FPS and I found nothing that states this.

But it's the only link from this whole thread that mentions the resolution of the previous versions at all.  For all the links you had not a one mentioned the resolution of the previous versions, just the resolution of the Wii U version most likely because it was included in a press release.  I've looked and I couldn't find anything definitive about the resolution/FPS of the PS360 versions of puddle either, so this is the only evidence we have for one way or the other.

The neogaf link stated it. I posted that on the first page. What makes jostiq link more valid? Joystiq aren't devs or tech experts.

The fact that it isn't mentioned anywhere in the Neogaf report's source?

a neogaf user stated it, and then was corrected by several other neogaf users and in the end they all left without any specific conclusion on it either.  I hardly think of that as definitive.

The fact that nowhere in the Neogaf report's source, is it mentioned?

And where is Joystiq's source?

I suppose the only way to truly know would be to ask Neko Entertainment.

No where is it mentioned that ps3 or 360 isn't running the game in 1080. Simple game, should be easy to run in 1080.

Neogaf's link of yours is from their forums, not from an actual professional gaming news website. Joystiq's article mentions Neko's QA manager Sébastien Chipot-Delys, and actually provides a quote from him.

You know who to write to now.

Now, if you could be more careful with YOUR reporting in the future, that'd be at least a lesson learned from all this. =P

SJoystiq has quotes of the dev stating that the PS3 and 360 version are both 1080p 60 FPS?

You've provided a more than generous helping of bad-faith for my day as it is.
If you want to believe that Puddle will be a graphical beast on the Wii-U, and that it's times and times better than the PS360 versions, be my guest.

For what we know, someone here mentioned twice that he was playing the game, and that it runs in 1080p/60fps. The report on Joystiq states the same. But you will only believe what you want.  There is nothing more I can do for you.
