I actually just caught myself thinking about buying this DLC pack, then I realized that I don't have New Super 2, nor do I really want it. Just wouldn't mind a little Mario on the side.

So....They created this after they finished and released the original game. Its not like they held levels from the main game or something.

Seriously though, beyond me being right about the lack of games in the West, this should have never happened to a Mario game. Maybe a year later add some extra stuff, but I want a full Mario experience. That is what I expect when I get a Mario game. This will only lead to its downfall. People buy Nintendo products for Nintendo games usually. Because they trust that Nintendo is going to give us all that they can give us. If they are going to go down this route and just give us half of what we expect then there is no need to buy from them anymore. I recently saw a Mario clone on the iphone. Why not just buy that since it is half of what Nintendo would have given us? Do we need to have Mario, or is it just the gameplay that we keep coming back for? If another guy can give us Flario: The Great Adventures for a 10th of the price and half the gameplay why not just go that route?

Wait...what? They are providing DLC, something we've known for months now. The game is already complete as it is and has more content than the last two NSMB games. This DLC is completely seperate from the main game and is for people who want more out of the game, you don't even have to use Coin Rush mode at all if you want to. Plus this DLC was created after the game came out, so it's not like they simply pulled this out of the game itself.

You may have known because you have the NSMB 2 thread, but I never took notice.


They promised that they would get working on DLC once the game was finished a few weeks or so before the game's Japanese launch. And I believe them. A few months sounds like enough time to make 9 new levels.
