In the case of Bayonetta 2, Wii U exclusivity has more in common with a stay of execution rather than being "sent to die".
This, on the other hand, is a late port with few reediming qualities that is also handled by an outside developer. What could possibly go wrong?

to me is the same , a sequel to a game , you can always wait for the trilogy , i am sure sooner or later EA will put it on WIIU.

The question here is why EA didn't putting the trilogy edition on Wii U in the first place.
As for Bayonetta 2, I'm not seeing much similarities. Bayonetta 2 is an exclusive new game, and Mass Effect 3 is a late port with a more enticing version on other consoles. Or maybe there will be a Bayonetta 1+2 collection in the future, but I doubt it will even be announced until Bayonetta 2's sales run their course, so unlike Mass Effect, Bayonetta 2 wouldn't be competing with a superior version of itself.
In short, Nintendo is smarterer than the stoopid people at EA.
