Forums - Nintendo - EA sent ME3 on Wii U to die.

its the same as bayonetta 2 on wiiU , do i see anyone of you saying bayonetta was sent to die?

In the case of Bayonetta 2, Wii U exclusivity has more in common with a stay of execution rather than being "sent to die".

This, on the other hand, is a late port with few reediming qualities that is also handled by an outside developer. What could possibly go wrong?

Mass effect 3 was never going to sell in the wii u anyways. Don't kid yourself. Anyone who wanted to play the game has done on either the pc/ps3/mac or the 360

Exactly, where's the trilogy. That a pretty stupid move on EA's side. And by the way what is Ubi Soft doing as well, by not releasing Assasin's Creed Trilogy on WiiU too??? Yeah maybe it's too tiring for both of them to add "tablet" elements -_-.

Seriously? People really think a multi-billion dollar business would throw away money on some kind of personal vendetta? If they're doing something, then they have financially motivated reasons. They might be wrong, but they're still operating with profit in mind.

What we're probably seeing here is an attempt to squeeze out a bit more from ME3 at full price as a stand alone title. That's how EA normally works. No big deal, just don't buy it if you're waiting for the trilogy. It's not like the Nintendo universe is the only one to go through this, look how long PS3 owners had to wait to get access to ME2 and ME1.

The idea that EA is trying to doom the Wii U, a new revenue stream, is just unrealistic.

The problem is that if not enough people buy the Wii U version, EA will just say this type of game doesn't sell  on Nintendo systems and they wont release the trilogy.

to me is the same , a sequel to a game , you can always wait for the trilogy , i am sure sooner or later EA will put it on WIIU.

Not when they use its low sales as an excuse to not consider moving the trilogy over.

The question here is why EA didn't putting the trilogy edition on Wii U in the first place.

As for Bayonetta 2, I'm not seeing much similarities. Bayonetta 2 is an exclusive new game, and Mass Effect 3 is a late port with a more enticing version on other consoles. Or maybe there will be a Bayonetta 1+2 collection in the future, but I doubt it will even be announced until Bayonetta 2's sales run their course, so unlike Mass Effect, Bayonetta 2 wouldn't be competing with a superior version of itself.

In short, Nintendo is smarterer than the stoopid people at EA.

ME3 has been pushed back from the Wii U launch for a reason.

I'm not saying we're definitely getting the trilogy on it.

I'm saying it's not off the table.

Yes it is. Microsoft holds the writes to the first one. The most the Wii U will see is 2 and 3.

But we know.. that this move (if it's a move) will be domed..
Wiiu will still top video game world.. and batman.. zombie u and Black Ops 2 will destroy any atemp to "bring the hate" and then it's pes 2013 time.. ea (if they hate) would look like amaturs.. and then the head starts rolling

can't wait

well if you really belive their motive is to kill the WiiU developemnt of in the future by using the sale numbers as proof to investors then MAKE some noise like people did about Bayonetta 2.

Sure the scenarios are different but the outcome with noise will be the same and at least investors will read peopel pissed of with EA for attempting to fail.

PS: Just don't go threatening to kill yourself lol. Civil protest haha.
