Hmm While I understand your point that "spinoffs" of main ip's could result in different sales results. It's still part of that franchise and is compared to other iterations in lots of other categories such as pixel count, resolution, in this case tracks, vehicles or any other graphic comparison. And you can bet on if this doesn't review as well as F3 or F4 then the GT guys will definately compare that. I get your point, but I guess I just don't see why if when this releases it will be compared in alot of ways so why is sales off limits? 

i am pretty sure it will get a much lower score and probably gt guys will jump on it but if they really want to compare a forza game which has not really something to do with the other forza games or gt games they can do it but in my opinion it makes no sense. sure the graphics of the cars and such things are comparable, like you can compare fifa street player models with fifa 13 player models or pro evolution soccer models but i would ask myself if pro evolution soccer fans are serious if they would start to compare the whole fifa street with pro evo.

they can, but their message is very useless because everyone knows the games are different and there is a fifa 13 or there will be a forza 5 and that's what you really have to compare with pro evo or gran turismo, not if a spin-off developed from another team is not as good as the "real" game.

So how is Forza on Decline ? i know it sold less than Forza 3 but wasnt Forza 3 heavilly bundled? How did Forza 3 without bundle units? i want to know.

I Love Forza and i hate that people try to bring the franchise down when its the best racer out there, i dont see the point on bringing those Playstation games like All Stars down aswell, i never did that as far as i remember and this are pre orders and we all know VGC has been was off with this stats.

Im not sure about the rest of the World, but i do know Forza 4 has only left the UK charts once since its release.

Forza 4 is definitely doing worse for several reasons. It's late in the gen and software sales have gone back. Then they made Forza into a bi-yearly franchise, which didn't help either.

Gamestop is the VAST marketshare of preorders.

I know how many we have. And lets just say Halo and BO2 alone are over 1 million with a single retailer.

I don't buy those reasons for Forza 4. 2011 saw plenty of sequels achieving series record numbers. I believe 2011 was the biggest year for the 360's software sales. So software hasn't gone back. And Forza has always been a bi-yearly franchise.

Its higher then LBP Karting and PASBR for comaprisons sake.

Its Forza, it has legs and will most certainly be bundled....but its also a spinoff. And this is just the second best 360 offering this holiday. Nevermind Halo 4. 360 gamers are supporting their console, no need to worry here. :)



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

The preorder charts always are. Im not sure how they get their data but the entire way they track them is strange. But either way Im gonna stop talking about this stuff for now do to respect for the site and other factors, ive already talked too much so Im out of this thread see ya
