All three are big clunky and ugly and need about 3 more redesigns before it is even small enough to be considered good looking, never mind sexy. Let's hope they don't make the same design mistakes with the PS4.

yep SATA 2.5inch, hwoever from what I herd you may need to buy the hdd bracket? I think that was probably BS rumor as it make no sense to ship a PS3 without it.

As I said, my main concern is that the hdd is now under the disc drive, I hope the heat from the hdd does not cause disc malfunctions.

I like the first slim model best. The new one is kind of ugly in my opinion. The old phat isn't bad looking, I'd put it at the same level as the Xbox 360 S.

Not where it counts, no. It's not compact, which is the purpose of slim versions. On a shelf, do you put your consoles side by side, or do you put one in front of the other? If it's side by side then you have the same space as before, and one in front of the other is moot because no one arranges their things like that in the first place. It's useless that it's thinner (looking at it top down).

The only good thing is that your discs won't get stuck in it if it malfunctions.

Not terrible, but I like the old Slim better than this super slim.

I didn't realize space was the main incentive for slims. I thought people just cared because smaller looks better. In any case, the new slim allows more space in front of and behind itself. 

Imagine the Phat PS3 for example, then imagine it suddenly grew 30% backwards and forwards. Sure, it's the same width, and doesn't effect the allignment of the other consoels, but it's clearly uglier. The opposite is the case with the Slim. It may not have a smaller width, but it is drastically smaller, which looks nicer.

They forgot to add the non backwards compatible Wii in that comparison video.

I hate the new ps3 super slim and ill make sure to but another slim before they discontinue them.
