3DS continues to dominate! As an ambassador, I love seeing that.

I feel really bad for Vita right now. After that little spike from Miku, it has just continued to fall.

Is the Vita a flop a'la the Virtual Boy?

Not even close, I don't get how you get that idea...Virtual Boy didn't even manage a million units sold. Vita is at 2.5m+ without a Christmas holiday in the West (not to mention the biggest games are yet to come out)...

I've been reading that since a month after the Vita's launch (and they weren't talking about the games you are talking about).

Oh? Which games were they talking about? And why did you only address that part of my post?

Resistance: Burning Skies

Madden NFL 13

Unit 13

MLB 12: The Show

Disgaea 3

Metal Gear Solid HD Collection

Gravity Rush

Sound Shapes

Mortal Kombat

I only addressed this part of your post because it was the only "new" thing added. I asked a question about the Vita, you gave me your opinion, life goes on. I neither agree nor disagree with your assessment.

Yeah Capcom flooded the market after Street Fighter IV with more and more fighting games and those from other publishers failed either critically (Tekken 6) or in sales (SoulCalibur V). Dead or Alive 5 will probably follow these sales with currently 35k pre-orders for each version in the US.

Street fighter 4

Super Street fighter 4

Super Street fighter 4 : Arcade Edition

Marvel Vs Capcom 3

Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3

Street fighter 3rd strike online

Capcom Digital Collection (street fighter 2 hd remix is the cover game)

They completely flooded their own market and now they're drowning in it.

Marvel vs. Capcom Origins out next week on XBLA and PSN :P

@ the two bolded, yes, I think people were expecting them to be bigger than they actually were.

At the other 7: who was saying this?  I think you're confusing Vita owners being excited about getting a game (i.e. Sound Shapes, MGS HD) and them being 'big' games that will help sell the system.

Who in their right mind called those games the biggest Vita games?

It's not about agreeing or disagreeing. I clearly showed you were blatantly wrong, so I assume that is why you didn't bother to respond.

Settle down, son.

I read up and down this board and others (I visit more than one site) about how MGS HD was going to be huge, MK was going to be big in the West, Madden is for the hardcore, yatta yatta yatta. I'm not going to dig up posts to prove the fact that people have been calling any Vita game on the horizon the "actual really big game yet to come out".

What was I wrong about? I asked a question, I remember that.....

Yes, and you were wrong for even making a comparison. Disrespectful to the glorious Vita.

And uh...an HD collection was going to be huge for the system? It's always been about Cod, AC of the announced games. Both are coming soon.

I didn't make a comparison; I asked a question.

Got it?

I read this thread, thought it was leaning that way.

"Is Sound Shakes the killer-app?" does not equal "Sound Shapes is the killer-app!"

There's a difference between predicting something will be big before it releases (like people are doing now with say, Call of Duty) and posting a review of the game as it releases and asking a question about whether it will help the system.

I hope this is not the only thing you were basing your original statement off.

I'm good, I'll see you in next week's sales thread for your regular "3DS great, Vita awful" post.
