they were playing catchup. my n4g and gamecube were gathering dust for years whilst i was stuck on the PS1+2 and the exact same thing happened with the wii.

I think people are just trying to attack Nintendo at this point.  I'm starting to question why it's so important for the Wii U to be a beast of a console, especially at its relatively low price point.

Good for you, my PS1 and PS2 collected a bunch of dust, while N64 and GC got alot of playing time.
