I know right, after all these years Nintendo finally found out that you need other companies as well to make games for your console, but I'm still looking forward to seeing what mircosoft and sony will be showing next year.

Today I felt everything about Nintendo that I wanted so desperately to feel during E3. 

Does this make me sound too intense...? Possibly.

Today was made sweeter by how all the Nintendo haters went from "I'll get a Nintendo console when games I want come out on it" to "DAMN YOU NINTENDO! DAMN YOU PLATINUM GAMES!" A sign that things are moving in quite the right direction for Wii U. 

based on estimates the graphical comparison between wii-u and nextbox will be massive... so once again no I do not think 3rd party will stay, at best wii-u will get trash ports of good games. so once again gamers will pass on the wii-u, or own one and never really use it.

nintendo, why you no on par with competition like with n64.

Why is everyone so excited? I actually lost my motivation to purchase the Wii U today. I was at work the whole day and I only saw a small number of highlights in text (models, price, game list, bayonetta, TVii, etc.) but I didn't see anything to get excited about.

What did I miss?

At this point the whole graphical comparison argument is pretty moot since we don't know anything about X720 and PS4.

I can't imagine how gargantuan this gap has to be that an HD game designed for nextbox can't be ported to Wii U. This isn't the gap of the previous era where Wii couldn't even be remotely included ... I imagine the biggest gap can only be the difference between Medium quality texture on a really good game vs. Ultra quality or something.
