Forums - Sales - Japan sales week 36: Famitsu & Media-create (post Hatsune Miku week)

So... I understand now why the devs were not pleased with Hatsune Miku's performance. It won't become Vita's best selling game (persona will carry the torch for a long time).

Harvest Moon unbundled won the fight against Hatsune Miku bundled with special edition console...
We need to re-evaluate our concept of big games, guys.

BTW... dat Run for Money game... I wouldn't be surprised if passes HM in the future too... what the hell!

Remember, it looks like this, lol

The non-delusional among us didn't even raise an eyebrow to the Vita drop.

Did anyone actually think that those sales would be sustained?

The really non-delusional didn't raise an eyebrow at the vita increase. Others made "vita seved" threads.

To be fair there were different threads, some of them were not delusional and just wanted to state how well did the game fare, and others ... well  they were calling the Vita a Gold mine.

So, I guess we won't see some users on this thread.

SW seems too low, wondering how things will be after the Nintendo conference and TGS.

Well, Vita is not saved after all. But it was pretty predictable.

We need moar Zelda, now!

We need moar Unchartedzz!

We need less DLCs.

Lost Heroes did worse than I thought... I aimed for 60k in my thread... oh well. Maybe with legs it can get there, looks like a fun game, Shin Megami Tensei with heroes.

Speaking of SMT... Soul Hackers, just like Miku don't seen to have any legs, 12k in second week... JRPG logic is the worse logic in sales. Senran Kagura did well, considering all those sales are basically free money.

WOW! just wow... really terrible for Vita and Miku. 20k was my prediction, but I didn't expect it to drop to this level until next week.

3DS, while selling well compared to the others (again more than everyone else combined), it's somewhat dissapointing when you relize that it's basically back to its pre 3DS XL pre NSMB2 launch after only one month :(

Speaking of NSMB2, it's already sub-40k. It looks like it doesn't have a chance at 3 million in Japan before 2013 (or even 10 million worldwide for that matter)

The developers for Hatsune Miku came out and stated that they were displeased with the sales of the game?

What were they expecting it to sale?

I'm an advocate for motion controls, Nintendo, and Kicking freaking Toad to the Moon!

Well I hoped it would at least fall down some stairs and hit some steps along the way, but it fell down a cliff instead....

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Indeed, Japan seems to be a wee bit tired of 2D Mario games. Of course, this will still end up being one of the best selling games on the 3DS and of all time there.

Well, that's depressing.
