Ah, that one. Perhaps it was an overexagguration, yes. Maybe I should have made it clear. My point was 5 mil is a lot for a new IP, and few Sony games hit 5mil. They tend to sell more evenly, around 2-4mil.

And no. 5 million is unreachable for PASBR. Less than 2 million. Probably less than 1.5 million. May not even reach a million unless adding vita and ps3. Certainly not 1 million on vita alone and probably not even 1 million on ps3 alone.

I'm curious... what makes so many of you think the game won't hit 1M?

What the hell are you talking about? I didn't realize the quality of the poll options were judged by how much of a fan of a manufacturer you were. Color me flabergasted.

Seeing preorders, Im thinking Sonys gonna do some big bundling if they have a lot riding on this.

What do you mean "ah that one"? As if you don't even know what you're typing. You know what you're typing and you know what's true and not true. And 'perhaps? Really? There is no perhaps. This isn't up for debate. The statement was definitely false. It was NOT an exaggeration. It was completely and utterly false. Just admit you were wrong. I know what your point was, but the support for your point was wrong. I don't see why you couldnt have just said what you said now instead of making obviously false statements.
