I agree that gloss isn't the way to go with handhelds (the original 3DS got dirty way too easily, as opposed to the nice matte finish on the XL), but I don't mind gloss on my consoles.

Agreed, Smeags. In fact, I like the glossy look for the black WiiU. Looks great.

I want a black WiiU with white Gamepad. So my console looks different than my Wii and i can avoid "dirty" looking gamepads.

They need to make a black and white bundle :) or white and black for people who prefer a white console with black game pad.

This would be the perfect opportunity for a HD remake of Pokemon black and white ;)

less of a concern with a proper console (where the dust will be the bigger issue), but yeah, i can attest that glossy black handhelds don't tend to work too well. Should've gone aqua for my 3DS...
