Lol. This argument is never going to end.

lilbroex will defend Nintendo to the death and o_O.Q will argue on and on about any claim of Nintendo accomplishing something before Sony.

?? haven't defended Nintendo once as there have been no attacks on Nintendo defend. I'm answering the questions I was asked or was. In case you haven't noticed by my lack of responses, I'm done with it, because I'm tired of repeating the same facts over and over again to people who keep rewriting and asking the exact same quesiton.

Now, please go direct your condescending assumptions elswhere as they are wrong.

" the same facts over and over again "

i'm sorry but that is just bs

if you're talking about facts you surely can't be speaking of claims like these

"Home added customizable homes and various envionments to it like a hub world but the basic idea behind was to be an "improved" version of the Mii which it didn't live up to.  "

you yourself said about the mii system

"Having avatars is not the same at all. This is integrated into the consoles and plays accross games. Its a fundamental feature of the console."

which obviously for anyone who has used it does not apply to home

"A huge environment where the avatars gathered together and interact."

and again if you're talking about mii parade or the mii channel...

the claims above are not facts...

In terms of the WiiU's interface, I like it. It is different and I like that it has a forum style system built in. Will work great with the UPad if it has an on screen keyboard which I am sure it does.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

I'm not being condescending. Just stating something based on your post history. Remember that recent thread where you argued tooth and nail that GC was more powerful than Xbox and said Wii was 4x Xbox's power? And there are a few other threads with similar examples.

You're building a bit of a reputation.

Honestly, I really don't think that Playstation home was copying the Mii system from the Wii ... It is clearly a "copy" (for lack of a better word) of Second Life.

At the same time, I think Nintendo didn't put much thought into Miis ... Nintendo started working with Mii like avatars in the days of the NES/SNES, probably had 3D versions of them for the N64 or Gamecube, and they probably were using this simple avatar system to rapidly prototype games that used the Wiimote. I think they added them to the console by default because it was kind-of fun to create them, and the developers liked seeing what others had created being imported into their games. I could be wrong but I think Nintendo put more focus on Miis with the 3DS and Wii U because of how popular/successful they were with the Wii.

No I never argued that. That was someones intentional misquote of what I said which was made because they coulnd't argue with what I actually said. Such is the reason that people misquote things intentionally like what is occuring in this thread.

I only argued that the GC is "overall" more powerfull than the Xbox as Rebel Strike proved and that the Wii's "cpu" is 4 times as capable as the one in the Xbox1 do to it being a 64bit PowerPC processor. No more, no less. Get your facts straight. All of you need to learn how to quote properly.

When it gets to the point where everything I say is being twisted like it is in this thread and that one, there is no point to continue.

I will agree, that there are many exmaples of people misquoting my posts to make more favorable material to argue against in a few other threads. All of you are building a reputation as fallacious trolls with negative agendas do to your inability to when an argument against facts.

Lilbroex, you don't have to explain yourself, Home is nothing like Miiverse and on top of that it failed so what's the point of even bringing it up. People seem to forget the point of mii parade being used to transfer miis to others without the different Wiis being able to communicate. So why would the miis talk to each other if the Wii system never allowed it. Sony created home as a response to Miis. Miis are avatars used in many different games, just like home are a bunch of avatars used in many different games except PSN allows them to communicate. Nintendo has took it even further and instead of using the failed system of PSN, they are approaching this like Twitter or Facebook and the miis are just used as the profile pictures. In home the avatars are talking as if they are real people which proved to be a horrible idea. The avatars are just pics and the communication happens on the message boards not as a conversation between two avatars. How would you even talk to the entire community without a message board?

Saw this on the news thread and I'm floored that this will be much easier to communicate with my friends than the message board on the wii.
