Unless they dont make physical copies of the Vita versions and release them through digital only. This in turn would help sales for the PS3 version and get people motivated to buy a Vita to play these games on the road (if its tied to their accounts and not released as a coupon/code).


How exactly would they tie a ps3 physical copy and a vita digital copy to one account?


Oh I mentioned it because someone else mentioned it as well and used that idea as speculation. They could use it to tie it up kinda like what their gonna do with the God of War Saga collection where there is a voucher you can use to register the game on your PSN account (at least from what I hear), of course they could use this via the Physical BD of the PS3 version and through installation tie it to the PSN account (not sure if its possible).

Again its speculation...and I doubt they'll do something like that.

They might just go the route of having some kind of online verification for a physical PS3 game that will send you a message through PSN with an attachment download. That way no loose code, effectively linking the digital game to your account while at the same time deactivating the code on the PS3 game from Sony's data servers.



Before the PS3 everyone was nice to me :(

only on the internet can giving away free stuff be bad. I'm glad sony is doing it, it makes my game buying decisions easier. At least they aren't making a knee jerk reaction and cutting the price months after launch. They don't need to loose money to get more vitas in peoples hands. They need to make it seem more valuable to the nimble minded consumer. Why are you guys acting like every game is going to do this. It's not, and The last of us isn't going to be on the vita. Although what they need to do with their exclusives is make the vita interact with the game, Like in the last of us the vita screen could be your bag. And you could mix your meds or your bomb right there on the vita screen. If only half you trolls would spend more time playing games and less time trolling the vita this site would be more enjoyable.

I don't feel it would be beneficial for third party developers to include the same game for free on PSV. Third parties develop games to make money, not to give them away for free.

It works for physical copies, via the sku or some sealed redeem code.
