I kind of want Nintendo themselves to do it this time. Didn't Retro already get it? And then Team Ninja worked on it?

I want Nintendo to do it this time.

Isnt Retro....Nintendo?

Edit: Yep it is, Subsidiary of Nintendo like Nintendo EAD and HAL Laboratory.

Edit 2: Oh wow so Monolithsoft is officially a first party subsidiary of Nintendo, news to me.

... It's a subsidary... yes. But it's still not Nintendo.

Sakamoto needs to stay the Hell away from this series.

Team Ninja can play if they want, maybe, if one of Nintendo's more conservative and more strict directors makes sure they hone down the gameplay to a razor's edge, and keep cutscenes to almost nothing

And Sakamoto isn't allowed to touch the script at all, ever

A little known fact about Zelda is that every single screen has a single secret in it (apart from dungeons). With enough time and exploration, you could find something on every screen, and complete the game with your own deductive reasoning.

I'll read the rest of your post after I comment on this: You're wrong. There actually isn't a secret on every single screen of the overworld map. There are many (probably around 80-85%) but it is not every single one. There are screens with literally nothing to find except monsters as you continue on to the next screen. Case in point: The far bottom right screen had nothing but the corner of the ocean and a path to walk.

Sure I'll concede that. :D

I knew it would pay off to buy that special artist's rendition of the LoZ overworld map and hang it above my computer! I love this baby: http://mudron.bigcartel.com/product/map-of-hyrule

So you are saying Kirby, Donkey Kong, Star Fox, Super Smash Brothers, Pokemon are not Nintendo since their not made by Nintendo EAD?

You got me there.

But, this arguement wouldn't have been neccesary because when I said Nintendo I thought people would know what I meant. As in the original studio who made Metroid. We need the minds of Nintendo themselves (with help from a few studios, if necessary.)

I hope you know what I mean because I don't feel like explaining it anymore.

If this happens, I already know I'm not going to buy it.

If Retro Studios does another Metroid game and I'll give them my $$$.

I agree with you 100%...guess sales numbers do too.

I wonder if Iwata agrees with us as well.

You can just call them Nintendo's internal studios to differentiate with their external studios such as Retro and Monolith, I think.

No
i dont want another Metroid Ninja Gaiden Prime
I want a real Metroid made by Nintendo or Retro

People sure like to blame Team Ninja for this stuff, but the worst part of Other M came from within Nintendo, and that will persist in the future unless steps are taken to circumvent it

I don't see what all the consternation is about. Team Ninja didn't write Other M's narrative. It was the narrative that was panned by most Metroid fans.
