I though Other M's gameplay was solid. I'd actually like another Other M like game.

I'm not a fan of the series, but the 3DS one wasnt bad. I only tried the demo though. It was basically DoA 1-4 put together in one package.

We've been over this before, but there was nothing to ignore. Metroid canon seems to distinguish between the Zebesian Space Pirates (who lack autonomy and are more insectoid) and Space Pirates proper (who seem to be more reptilian and have a degree of free will). Prime 3 neatly established the fall of the latter breed of Pirates, who had their homeworld occupied by the end of the game (and were likely devastated by the fall of Phaaze). Phazon was gone, the only thing that Prime does is fill the gaps between Metroid and Metroid II

Similarly, Other M does little to overarching canon, except filling the gap between Super and Fusion.

Well... it would probably be better than Other M. I think. I hope.

Ah, screw it. Come on, Metroid Prime 4 would sell at least twice as well.
