I think Spongebob's humor can be too mature sometimes.

I realized this when I turned on an episode for my daughter to watch (She likes Sponge Bob) and it started off with Sponge Bob sitting on the recliner watching what looked like sea sponges underwater and he appeared to be really enjoying it. Then suddenly Gary comes into the room and Sponge Bob quickly changes the TV to football.

Only I of course knew what he was really doing, lol.

Edit - I found it!

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Ok these two are less so the actual theme, and more so the characterizations themselves. They completely go over kid's heads

-Him from the PowerPuff Girls

and...

-Red Devil from Cow and Chicken

These two freaked me out as a child, especially HIM(anyone else find him scary as fuck?!). They are similar yet different interpretations of the Devil whos main purpose in both shows is temptation and discord. How the hell did they come up with an evil drag queen as a villain? Its borderline genius lol.

Oh, has anyone seen the Banned Pokemon EP's?

That one with Team Rocket handling guns is freaking hilarious. xD

There are plenty in cartoons nowadays, just as before. I mean, hell, there's a famous Tex Avery cartoon called "Red Hot Riding Hood" where Red's a night-club performer and the Wolf is just a horny club-patron

Full cartoon is here (embedding disabled) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZaVc8S-kjfg

Or we have Regular Show, where just one example is a talking coffee bean who lactates coffee out of his man-nipples

Other regular show examples can be read about here

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

@Mr. Khan
I remember that one, old hannah barbara and WB cartoons r pretty strong offenders.

Side Note: love the sig quote. I always found that to be odd. How am I suppose to have previous experience for an entry level job if the only exp related would be to have said job?

I'd recommend Coraline. It comes off as a simple kid's movie, but it's just so creepy. Especially with everything that happens near the end. It's one of the better animated films I've seen.

Sigs are dumb. And so are you!
