I realized this when I turned on an episode for my daughter to watch (She likes Sponge Bob) and it started off with Sponge Bob sitting on the recliner watching what looked like sea sponges underwater and he appeared to be really enjoying it. Then suddenly Gary comes into the room and Sponge Bob quickly changes the TV to football.

Only I of course knew what he was really doing, lol.

These two freaked me out as a child, especially HIM(anyone else find him scary as fuck?!). They are similar yet different interpretations of the Devil whos main purpose in both shows is temptation and discord. How the hell did they come up with an evil drag queen as a villain? Its borderline genius lol.

I do that quite often when watching cartoons.
My favorite episode of SpongeBob is the Profanity episode.....you all know what I'm talking about.

There are plenty in cartoons nowadays, just as before. I mean, hell, there's a famous Tex Avery cartoon called "Red Hot Riding Hood" where Red's a night-club performer and the Wolf is just a horny club-patron

I remember that one, old hannah barbara and WB cartoons r pretty strong offenders.

I'd recommend Coraline. It comes off as a simple kid's movie, but it's just so creepy. Especially with everything that happens near the end. It's one of the better animated films I've seen.
