PS3+Xbox360 weekly sales excess Wii+DS by a large amount. How long will it take for the duo to overtake Nintendo?

This reminds me of many, many years ago when David Letterman had a countdown for when Buddy Biancalana would overtake Pete Rose in hits.

Hmm, compared handheld+home-console of nintendo to home-consoles of competition. To be fair, the handheld of the competition should be included:
Wii+DS: 248.78M
XBOX360+PS3+PSP: 208.07M
 (numbers based on http://www.vgchartz.com/analysis/platform_totals/ )
Nintendo-consoles outsell the competition by more than 40M. But XBOX360+PS3+PSP currently sell better than Wii+DS. As the OP states, they could outsell Nintendo with time, but the gap is not that big (20%).
