Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo "on track to become primarily a software company"

I just wanted to give y'all a little something why Nintendo won't be going third party:

They've done so much for the gaming industry, they've given all of us so much I just don't see it as a possibility that they would go 3rd party. They're safe for at least 10-15 years!! Maybe, just maybe they'll release some games on iOS and/or Android. Maybe.

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Nintendo: Slated to turn 3rd party since 1994...

Seriously, how are these "analysts" still in a job?

They rake in serious money from hits, like IGN.

Nintendo has always been primarily a software company; their hardware has always been an extension of that; I don't think that will change. I also think they know more about the direction of the industry than Sony or Microsoft do.

Last generation they won on two fronts with combined hardware easily going to surpass a quarter of a billion units; this generation they're winning on the one front available, handheld.

Also, look up Bing Gordon, he works for Zynga, not for EA - obviously he has ulterior motives when discussing the top console maker, and the only one who doesn't support Zynga platforms. Also, check out his company's stock, particularly between Wednesday and Thursday where it dropped 36%

In other words, don't listen to this clown.

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
