Is it a good thang?

They should buy the whole Rare back 156 83.42%

NoOooOoooOoooOoo 31 16.58%

Total:187

Not sure if they should buy Rare back. They are not the same company anymore. Plus, I don't think MS would want to get rid of them since they are the team that does a lot of internal XBox stuff like the avatars.

Gosh I hope not.

Nintendo getting back Rare's old IPs? It's like my wet dream...or something. Too good to be true.

I put it in parhenteses to illustrate it was a quote from someone.

Eh, the IP's are still worth something I suppose. I wouldn't mind seeing a new Perfect Dark being made by a half way decent team, it could actually be another decent Retro studios revival.

Haha, well this is a bloody odd rumour.

I could see Nintendo possibly buying Banjo rights off Microsoft. MS have no use for them but I bet a lot of Nintendo fans are nostalgic for it.

They won't buy Rare though. For one, they're just not worth the purchase at all. But secondly, they've kind of finally found their niche for Microsoft in Kinect Sports. MS aren't just gonna give that up.  After all that money they paid all those years ago and Rare are finally making profitable games (I assume) just to throw it all away.

Lol. I call near-definite fake on this. Rare has been doing kinect and avatar stuff with great success, there is no reason for Microsoft to sell the company.

Only selling the SNES/N64 IPs is not as much unrealistic though.

MS losing Banjo IP to Nintendo ?

Never gonna happen.
