Lol, the total is great but the weekly numbers are kind of getting disappointing. Expected, but disappointing nonetheless.

All things considered, Kingdom Hearts 3D can end up doing pretty well. At least as well as Birth by Sleep lifetime in America, definitely an eventual million seller if reviews are good and the KH fans buy 3DS's.

BlopsII jump makes me sad. Halo 4 is most likely going to open about on par with Halo Reach. I dont think 360 has the casual gamer influence it did a couple of years ago. Just look at Gears 3.

Just goes to show that COD fans will buy anything, but they need a trailer to prove it :P

And good numbers for KH, and great overall numbers for Halo 4, but sad weekly increases...

If these numbers are accurate, I can see Halo 4 doing a 2 million first week, which would be just awesome. That should but won't silent the haters saying Halo is on its way out. It is funny, that they say the same thing about Gears, Fable and CoD.

Does anyone know why MS didnt do a public Halo 4 beta? Disapointing MS didnt take advantage.

It would have done wonders for the preorders.



Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

343 stated It would take away from developement time and split resources. They just don't have the time for it.

2 million first week? That would be a disappointment, surely, for a mainline Halo title at this point.


huh, I was so sure someone posted Halo: Reach opened with a 1.6 million units in the US.
Make it 2.6 million, which would be a nice 8.5% increase over Reach, which did amazingly well.

Im still thinking halo will end up with more pre orders than black ops 2 on Xbox. Next week halo should get a decent boost with the special edition console up for pre order and Microsoft haven't started their inevitable huge marketing push. I agree with sales2099 for once. Surprised there hasn't been a beta yet.
