Amazing indeed. Tomorrow I'll add some more themes too!

No sp.ed., thats bad, it would boost both hw and sw sales, i suppose its not big enough to get its own sp.ed. 3DS

"Square Enix is readying a "Collectors Edition" version of the game for release exclusively through the Square Enix e-Shop. This 12,000 yen pack includes the game, the first print run of the game's original soundtrack, an art album, an original protect case for the 3DS, and life-size AR poster. The latter three items will not be sold separately."

A definite no-buy, but I've been saying this ever since the game was first shown. It looks awful and it will play awful.

And to think I voted you for best Vgchartz user...

Badgenome, I regret everything, my vote is yours!

I'm putting a wild guess out there and say you hated Chrono Trigger on the snes.

Some user in neogaf posted his impressions of the battle demo, that was available today in japan  - so japanese vgcharterz like smbu and manu... forgot his name! [the guy with the cute smiling kid pic], your impressions are welcomed here!

"So, game starts with Tiz and Idea, and let's you choose their classes, from "Knight", "Monk", "White Mage" and "Black Mage".

The "Brave & Default" system hinges around "BP" (Brave Points, I assume).

The action "Default" let's you guard and stock BP. The action "Brave" let's you use up BP you've stocked up, or borrow BP from future turns (your BP will go to a minus number, and you won't be able to act until it recovers back to 0). Using Brave lets you use BP to perform actions.

If you use up 2 BP for example, you can act 3 times on the same turn, applying to every action available (attacks, abilities or so on).

The battles look 60 fps in 3D to me. Closing one eye and switching 3D on and off shows no difference in framerate."

Wow, this is a rare game that temps me to buy new.

The artwork is very detailed and the battle music could be better but it's pretty damn great. I'm sure after a few battles I'd be hooked.

A new haven for FFIX fans? It looks good, and another big win for the 3DS.

Edit: Now to see how it plays, staying tuned vic.

60 FPS? That's pretty good, especially since I think most games are 30 FPS.

My favorite theme is still this one, so simple and charming

Just like this game: simple and charming.

I don't know if you knew this or not before posting this, but:

The game is being developed by Takashi Tokita, who is most known for his work as the director of the timeless Chrono Trigger and various other titles unrelated to the recent Final Fantasy installments. Visually though, the game is being art directed by Akihiko Yoshida, one of my favorite artists at the studio behind the visual look of memorable classics like Vagrant Story, Final Fantasy Tactics and Tactics Ogre. His incredible art direction for this title delivers beautifully epic, vast vistas with a watercolor flair within the confines of a small 3DS screen.
