For Greece it would be a better thing, not to take money from other european countries, but to ditch the Euro and get rid of the debt through inflation (like many countries did before). But Germany needs to keep Greece in the Euro-zone. Greece is one the countries importing the most from Germany. Germany's economy probably wouldn't be in trouble, but surely would take damage, if Greece leaves the Euro-zone.

Not unusual for our neighbors. A newspaper from Poland also had Nazi-Merkel, if I remember right.
Ironically the Greek nazi party did much much better than ours...

Germany has a debt of 83% from their GDP, Spain has 61% (source in german: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Staatsverschuldung#Staatsverschuldung_in_entwickelten_L.C3.A4ndern). Why do you think Germany did better than Spain?

Germany exports very strong into the Euro-zone. Keeping out good customers like Greece, would be bad for the german economy.
