German media rips on Greece all the time

At least we do it with style instead of using pathetic pictures like this:

Actually there are more pictures in that article: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2101614/Greece-debt-crisis-Greeks-brand-Germans-Nazis-taking-control-economy.html

Ironically the Greek nazi party did much much better than ours...

How do Germans feel about the whole Greece debarcle?

Personally if I was German I'd be wanting to pull out of Europe and create a super currency with Scandinavia. That would be hilarious.

According to latest surveys 59% of germans are in favour of the European Union and think their country benefits from it. I can't find an english source for it right now, so you'll just have to take my word for it I guess

Fair enough I'll take your word on it however it is very surpising considering that incredibly bad management by the Greek government is going to cost hard working German tax payers. I know that here in the UK a lot of people are against the EU because it seems to cost more then we gain from it. Personally I'd like to see the proper industrial nations (Germany, Scandinavia, UK) to band together in a trade agreement of some kind and not be burdened by other countries.

can you link the survey? What language is it in?  I am not so sure the percentage is that high.

Taking a stab at an entire nation due to Germany taking a stab at an American car company. That's like throwing a brick at someone that threw a ball at you.

Argh I probably read the exact same survey but can't remember where (I think it was in the magazine "Wirtschaftswoche" which I read during my flight back from Turkey). Could you link it please ?

I expected something like this from Fox not CNN.

Something similar I found (very recent):

52% of the Germans think that the German economy would suffer in case the Euro fails, 18% think that our economy would do better without it.

http://www.handelsblatt.com/politik/international/umfrage-mehrheit-der-deutschen-plaediert-fuer-euro-ohne-griechen/6745962.html

i didnt watch the thing so idk what she said but i was probably saying worse about them and the rest of europe just recently. over demanding money from us to deal with their shit problems. and then the german ambassador insulting us when we tell them to deal with their shit themselves.

europe is very financially irresponsible and other countries shouldnt pay for it. where was europe when the US could have used some help? and fuck off...seriously, gemerany has benefited the most from the the euro so they can certainly pick up more of the slack...since you know its only really helping their own banks by "helping" the rest of europe.

I was think the same thing.  Fox News is usually the worst but CNN also has it's moments as this right here showed.  Honestly, I think of both of those stations as tabloids that make up much of their news.  The funny thing is that John Stewart and Stephen Colbert's writers are better at it.
