Is black ops 2 coming to the U?

Not confirmed, but it's madness to think not.

The controller could add to the game, but I think that voice kinect has the upper hand heere.

Unless they decide to add voice reconition to the title. (Unlikely) But they will probally do what they showed was possible with Smart Glass. (Which may be a reason they with held the WiiU information.)

I hope EA puts some effort into the WiiU version! It could so easily be THE best version of the game!!!

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

Thank God. I was worried that they weren't going to bring it over, but lo and behold, they did.

Anyone else slightly concerned we've yet to hear a price/release date for this thing?

It's going to be a launch window game and will cost around $60, because EA is greedy like that.

...

Oh, you mean the Wii U. The date and price for Nintendo's last two systems (Wii, 3DS) weren't announced at E3 either and it was confirmed a couple of weeks ago that the Wii U's date and price wouldn't be announced at E3.

Ah, I never knew that. Though it seems everyone is in agreement it will be released this year. So I guess that's cool.

Well since all the games for it are being released this holiday season the system better be coming then. I made a thread for it. But it get ignored. That Nintendo isn't using E3 as a platform for announcing new material any more they have Nintendo Direct, the Nintendo Channel, 3DS show, Press events and Hands on events that they can spread out the love and give more focus to the items that are coming out.

The thing with Madden and Fire Emblem may have been at Nintendo's suggestion, focus on the stuff that is coming out soon, or in the launch window of the WiiU. It kind of makes sense but for those who are use to getting surprised it ends up being something of a let down. But the last two E3's should be a good indication on the direction Nintendo's marketing is going. (And it is working for the most part.)

Yall got no clue how salty I was when they didn't show Madden 13 with 2 Gamepads at the conference...(that and no GTA V announcement) but this is just great. I was about to pre order on either PS3 or 360, so now thankfully I get to come home to Nintendo lol. My pockets are ready, Madden 13 "Playcaller edition" bundled with U Pad for $129.00. And yes, don't **** with me Nintendo, TWO GAMEPAD SUPPORT, just show plays on the tablet and we straight.

BTW, Madden Kinect will duck sick unless they fix that horrible time delay lag. That was embarrassing at the conference, with Joe Montana calling hike, only for the ball to be snapped 2 seconds later.

Well some of what they have shown for Smart Glass is probably what we are going to get. Make your own plays etc.

I fully expect that to happen in subsequent years, but I get the impression that Nintendo itself has only nailed the ability to do two tablets in the past few weeks. I'd be surprised if the Madden team manages to implement that feature in time.

"EA looks at Wii U and SmartGlass in the same light, won't bring 'cartoony' sports to Wii U" - source

"Conceptually we look at it (Wii U and SmartGlass) in the same kind of way. I think our designers are trying to solve problems around, 'How do you take advantage of the smart glass, on either device, and what kind of functionality does that unlock? And I think it'll benefit both. To be more specific, we have Wii U in development now [for Madden], we'll learn from it and it'll take us further in terms of delivering on the SmartGlass." - Cam Weber, EA

EA wouldn't give more details on just what kind of sports experiences we could expect on Wii U, but the company did promise that this go-around, we're going to get the experience that other platforms have been getting.

"I can't really talk about it much, but I think what we're doing is really cool. Maybe we're not hearing a lot about [Wii U] today or in this week, but I certainly believe it's going to be a product we're going to be proud of. Here's what I will say, and she. You may not want to hear me say this, but it's the truth: Whatever we release on the Wii U will not be a cartoony, dumbed-down, arcade football experience. It will be the real deal, HD simulation football." - Cam Weber, EA

EA's not going to do anything impressive the first year Madden is released on a new console. Why would they have to? It's a new system without many games. People will naturally buy it because it's a familiar franchise for people to play on their new system. Next year, in order to keep people interested, they'll probably show off some new features involving the tablet but I don't see it happening with this years edition.

At least it should be better than their first 3DS Madden effort <_>
