90+ rated HD game, might be on the charts for a while...as word of mouth continues to help out Dragon's Dogma, think the game will be on the charts for a while was looking for a way steeper loss w/w (- 85-88%)

3DS impressive, Vita don't know what the 10% jump was from since I don't see any games in T-20

Best release ever for a 3DS game! Nice boost too! I think this is 513 k is more games than Vita sold this year entirely. One game! Truly amazing numbers!

I think it would have done better if SE had shipped out more copies. I haven't seen a copy of it in stock around where I live since Saturday, and that was only at 1 store that was sold out the next time I checked.

Anyway, excellent opening for DQM: Terry and an excellent HW boost!

L5 really should have released Guild 01 in a different week. DQM:Terry is sucking up all the sales.


Even if they made a mistake, at least it wasn't as bad as that TR: Final Fantasy one, so it's okay.

As VgChartz top informant, how's the situation with Gundam Vita? Any hype already?

You do know the sony fan are now nintendo fans over there. And they can still play the ps1 version on vita. You forgot about that one. Yet you put up that. What is wrong with you.

OT: Nice week, wasn't expecting 3DS to go over 100k, about 90k seemed more conservative. In these times is good to control your expectations. Let's just hope that DQX doesn't do half as bad as people here expect to do.

What? I'm just saying this is a game sony fans hold dearly to their hearts, just that. It's part of playstation history like no other game.

Nintendo fans would do the same if Zelda or something becomes multiplat. What you think is wrong with me is actually wrong with you.

You know what, if it did go 3DS exclusive.....I honestly would not be surprised if that happened. Horrified? Sure. Surprised? No.

Hard to say until TGS. Look at DS to PSP sales during last gen. (1)

Sony are also really lucky that handhelds don't count. (2)

Thats whats so good about the future. We have no idea whats going to happen. You can't completely write off Vita in Japan until at least TGS. If when TGS gets here, Vita still has nothing, THEN we can say its over.

A good example of how things can turn around in Japan, would be PS3. Look how it sold during the first Year. Look at the support. Hell, look how it did until 2009.

I dont understand why you jump all over Vita, if youre not interested in handhelds.

I'm uninterested in playing handhelds... I'm very interested in the business of handhelds.

Same here (I like handhelds) , since it is uncontrolable at this point. Well in Japan 3DS is in control.

Dragon Quest did quite well and 3DS got a nice boost.
Another good week for Fire Emblem and Kid Icarus is still in the Top 20. Good, good.
