It wasn't their best since they could have had a few more surprises but I thought it was good. They were professional, with good speakers and their stage was nice. Showed a lot of content and gameplay. Only two multiplat titles and AC3 was tied to a bundle, exclusive DLC, and unlockable DLC with AC3: Liberation, which is getting a bundle of its own with the white Vita and 4gb card.
PlayStation Plus is getting even more love, but a more in depth look would have been nice. Vita is also being included in that. PS one titles are also coming this summer. Little Big Planet 2 is getting dual screen vita control support that with Usher (pun intended) in future gameplay to PlayStation. COD: Black Ops Unclassified is coming out this Holiday, hopefully some of it will be seen later this week. PS Suite got renamed (probably a good move) to PS Mobile and added an outside phone company to the mix, HTC which will strengthen its presence.
People shouldn't be hating on Wonderbook so much, it's for a younger audience. It's concept is actually very well done; a physical book you buy digital titles for to serve as a multi game device for your kid is perfect. It's just icing on the cake they got J.K. Rowling to make Book of Spells. It's just too bad their floor time kind of fell flat a couple times.
PS All Stars should have skipped the gameplay presentation, that was done already, should have just revealed characters. God of War Ascension, Beyond, and Last of Us all look really amazing.
I thought they were going to announce a few more big things but I guess they just aren't ready yet, but we'll see it soon enough. Sony just didn't live up to all the hype and expectations people had, but it was still a good conference. Rate it for what it was, not what you wanted it to be. Just because it wasn't a 9 or 10 doesn't mean it needs to be a 1 or 2. Also why are there so many people that have made Sony their sworn enemy as of 2006, did Sony sleep with your mommy?
