It would be nice if the PS3 Micro (I came up with it first, let it be known) came out at $199 along with being "party ready" so it can cross game chat like on Vita between other PS3 Micros and Vitas. The tech has been there to shrink the PS3, it is not using the smallest cell chip size available yet.

Even if they can make the price cut right now and still be profitable, I wouldn't make the call if it were up to me. Fact is, they need to money. Hold off until Nov 1. That's assuming they can make profit at that price. If not, don't cut.

I already have PS3 and PS-Vita. I would be more interested in price cuts for games :)

I believe PS3 will start dominating. Why? Lemme tell you why. Its the only console that still hasn't hit the magical pricetag of 199$/€.

Wii and 360 are at 199 since 2008, 4 long years.

For sales and people who don't own a PS3, this would be wonderful news. For me, I can give 2 shits for a price cut now. Show me next gen console and/or nice software.

Vita will go down aswell... MS will cut 360 price and in holidays 360 will probably win easily again.
