wii fit will be a success it already is and will continue to,plus SSBB will also help it and then if third parties release more games ninty could end up above 80% like you said

 Sorry i should clarify. If the Wii-Fit becomes very popular in Japan and drives new buyers to the wii, Sonys market share in Japan for 2008 will be under 20%. (Wii-Fit is already a huge success)

It almost seemed plausible to get 80% until i thought about it for a while. PS2 is gonna lose plenty of market share, and i think more of that is gonna go to wii than it is to PS3. However, the PSP will probably gain market share simply because the DS is reaching the point of diminishing returns, most people that would think about buying it already have it. Already sold 21.67 million in a country of 120 million and it's still young.

Remember how in the first part of Fight Club, you'd occasionally see a blip on the screen, and if you slowed it down you'd realize that it was quick flashes of Tyler Durden?

Well they did the exact same thing in this film with a quick little green blip. If you pause the video at just the right time, you can see Xbox market share.

Do we have any clue where they pulled these numbers from?

Just looking at this years sales in japan (based on this website) and this video has all the values way off.

Here is what this site shows

 You can see that VGChartz has PS3 at 7.44% vs. ~3%, which would mean VGChartz overtracked by 100% for the PS3 (or undertracked for every other console)

 Also, I Don't know why they didn't include X360, since it sold ~1%, while they tracked that WS system (don't have a clue what it is) 




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

 ah, ok. I figured it was hardware because i really didn't have a clue what i was looking at.
