I think its like the turtle vs rabbit race.

Sony do also own more IP's than Nintendo, and Microsoft combined.

Judging by the grammatical errors I would say he was drunk when he wrote this also. If failure really would lead to success then Sega would be the best third party publisher right now.

No, failure does not automatically lead to success. It's what a person or company does with failure.

Anyways, funny thread lol

Yeah its pretty funny Heavenly Sword was really not a success if it sold more Ninja Theory still would be making exclusives for the PS3.  As a matter of fact if Kung Fu Chaos didn't bomb big time they probably still would make exclusives for Microsoft and if Enslaved: Odyssey to the West would have sold better they still would make games for Namco/Bandai.  I doubt their reboot for DMC will do much better either.

Even if this is true (not saying you're wrong, just don't want to check the numbers) more IPs isn't automatically better.  The Mario IP is more valuable than Uncharted, Little Big Planet, Mod Nation, Jack and Daxter, Ratchet and Clank, Infamous, and a few others put together.

I'm sure they've learned from their mistakes in the past and the PS4 will have an at least decent launch to compete with the Nextbox

Game of the year 2017 so far:

5. Resident Evil VII
4. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
3. Uncharted: The Lost Legacy
2. Horizon Zero Dawn
1. Super Mario Odyssey

The folliowing phrases made me laugh:

  • The list of 'great new and huge franchises' contains MAG (Even the developer was closes after that!) Last Guardian (Not even released, timelines not met, key people leaving the developer) Warhawk/Starhawk (not well reviewed and pretty bad sales as well) Resistance (a franchise in decline since Resistance 1)
  • AC is as big as COD
  • Sony 'allowed' UbiSoft to go multiplat
  • Removing B/C so they can sell HD Remakes is a good thing.

Other than that, it still doesn't make any sense to me.

It is like "Okay Sony sucked in the first 2 years and tried to overhype their console and basically fucked their hardcore fanbase with a $600 price tag, but after they crashed, they did pretty well."

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I wouldn't post it if it wasn't true, and the Mario franchise been out since the 1980's so why compare with new fresh IP's?

Why are you yelling?

I think leo is mad.

Are U mad?

Yay!!!

i like how this man thinks, lets all get drunk and agree!

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
