It seems as if retailers are being slightly more aggressive with PS3 bundles/ black friday deals (in relation to the 360)
Or alternatively retailers are being less aggressive with the 360 than is typical for this time of the year.

Halo 4 should help "normalize" the gap between the 2 consoles in Microsoft's favor, but overall the PS3 will win the year by a fair margin.
