Forums - Gaming - Black Ops 2 breaking Amazon pre-order record

Despite what the haters say I think COD single player campaigns are well done in an over the top Hollywood pop corn flick kind of way. On console due to the 60fps requirement I'm not expecting many upgrades to the engine but on PC I read somewhere DX11 will be an option which I find intriguing.

I like the COD campaigns too (always complete them twice at least) and it's certainly a good game, most of them even very good. The complaints from people are just the hate that it's so successful (which I agree is too much after CoD4) and those who don't care about FPS at all.
Singleplayer is short, but it delivers the best action a game could possibly deliver and it's very addicting in multiplayer.

Wake me up when Society learns that this game is......... not good.

Can I borrow your copy of Black Ops 2? I'd like to make that judgement call for myself.

Are you trying to say I should play before I comment? For this Game Series, it is unnecessary.

Yes. But why aren't people allowed to enjoy what they enjoy. Why do individuals feel the need to act as if no-one should like a game just because they don't like it?

i dont get the hate i thought Black ops was very good campaign wise, and imo is has the best campaign of them all so far. i believe BO2 will outsell BO first week and LT no promblem, i can see why people wouldnt throw $60 for it i never have payed that much for a COD this gen you can usually get it for under 40 shortly after release like on BF and the weeks following it. i played COD 4 when MW2 released i bought it new for 10 bucks the year after i bought MW2 for $20 and shortly before MW3 released i bought BO for $30 i finally caught up to it with MW3 which i bought around release time for $40.

i though it was all worth it i enjoyed all there campaigns more so with BO there all pretty short bu if you play it on hard or veteran you'll get more than 4hrs out of it more like 6-8, MW3 has more replay value to it b/c it has spec ops and survival modes which can be enjoyed playing solo or online. the online portion of it never really hooked me, i played TDM for a short while on each but its way to unbalanced and im not into FPS as much as TPS i can get hooked with any decent TPSs online

Awesome! Well deserved.
Can't see how they'll innovate the multiplayer and zombie modes.

EDIT: Sorry. NintendoPie.

I'll happily admit that I bought Modern Warfare 3 day one. I love the Modern Warfare series. While I think that each Modern Warfare game has gotten progressively worse, they're still fun games with a decent story and campaign, and addictive and competitive multiplayer. The original Call of Duty 4 is one of my favourite games this gen.

Enough is enough though, the Black Ops II trailer looked awful in my opinion and I wasn't that fond of the first Black Ops either. The franchise has run its course, hopefully this is where the series starts to fail.

It's basically gotten to the point where any game with the words Call of Duty attached to it will instantly be flamed by the gaming media, yet it won't deter sales at all. It's a fun and addicting series to play, nothing wrong with that.

Edit:  Oh, and the best is that the people who complain about COD the most are also the same folks who claim BF3 is the best thing ever, when it's campaign (if you can actually call it that) was a half-assed blatant rip off of Black Op's, and it has a whopping THREE multiplayer modes, two of which (team death match and rush) suck massive balls and aren't even worth your time.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

I'm so tired of you. Stop acting like, because of my age, I can't make decisions by myself and I can't do things without someones consent. You are being utterly ridiculous.
