That's not an awesome idea, that's something obvious.

Sounds like something children would like, but I see no real benefit of this.

Can take or leave the figure stuff - but love the look of the game.

Activision sure are milking this figure crap...oh wait it's Ubisoft this time, if this is next gen's next big gimmick I'm out.

It's not even a subtle form of exorbitant DLC. It's like they literally think we're morons.

Are you pretending that these toys are aimed at "hardcore" gamers?

Makes it all the worse that children are the core demographic for these products, as they can sell them and attain general success with minimal repercussions. Also if the figures unlock content within the game they are still in essence DLC regardless of the demographic.

I love Rayman Origins and:
I'm glad this is coming to Wii U.
I'm glad they are proactivily using new technology in imaginative ways.
I'm eager to see if this new tech either push third party hardcore gaming support or just the opposite.

That confirms it.
