^ Have you seen Flesh+Blood? The movie Rutger Hauer did after Ladyhawke. I found it a very good portrayal of the middle ages, gritty and violent.

I haven't watched either in a long time. I had flesh+blood on VHS and Ladyhawke on Laserdisc, both PAL versions. I remember being slightly bored by Ladyhawke.

^ Are you having a bit of the movie blues? I have never seen Cloak and dagger, looks fun. BeverlyHillbillies was fun, but that's a B-movie as well ;) I miss movies like The goonies, Wargames, Labyrinth, Neverending story.

I'm having a break from movies it seems. I've got a couple lying around, can't get myself to watch them. And Anchorman 2 is on sale this week on psn. ($2 HD rental) Some tv shows and Diablo 3 are keeping me entertained,

And I'm reading The Quantum Thief, amazing sci-fi. It has the best bits of Remember me, Transistor, In Time (although those were all after the book came out) in a post human society where the issue of consciousness is conveniently sidestepped and minds and memory can be copied and restored. The writer must be a gamer as well, lots of little influences from gaming in there, reminds me a bit of Deus Ex as well in places. It also features an interesting extrapolation of one's social/online presentation in the form of Exomemory and Gevulot, a privacy protocol that determines what people can know of each other in each encounter, down to receiving a name request like on psn nowadays.

Anyway wonderful to find something so fresh and full of ideas after 30 years of reading sci-fi :) I can't stop thinking about it, love it.

Watched the new Godzilla movie its not that good it had very good special effects but the plot, the acting and the action where kinda weak 6/10. Also watched A Haunted House 2 not as good as the first one but still pretty funny 6/10.

tried to watch the new CGI movie heavenly sword based on the game and gave up after a few minutes..

Totally agree the trailers made it seem a lot better.  Hopefully the trailers for Interstellar aren't that missleading since they make it look great.
