Got to find more iron to finish my pointless railroad trying to find the edge of the map :/ Exploring the huge twisting procedurally generated caves is a lot more fun than I thought it would be. Emerge somewhere in the wilderness after a couple of hours then try to find the way home. Kinda terrifying when I dug up from under a frozen lake at night time. Don't want to drown with all my iron, gold and diamonds without a clue where I am. Bering sea gold, the game :) |
so you got zombiefied lol but its not like theres a lot new stuff to watch anyway..

It got worse, I started messing with redstone. It's LBP all over again, you can build complex electronic circuits out of a few basic switches, pistons, pressure plates and repeaters. Back to logic school, start with OR and NOT and everything comes from there. It's a lot harder than LBP, not simply connecting wires, but planning ahead and avoiding short circuits. Fun challenge.
I started building an automatic switching yard for my 5 minecart lines coming together. I just realized I've set myself up for failure. I build the circuitry under the river we made earlier, thought it would look cool with a glass ceiling. Yet one 'miss' click by my 5 year old will flood the underground chamber and wash away my circuitboard :/ I need to dampen the river tonight and replace the ceiling with obsidian for protection. He already came in today and couldn't find the way back out, so started digging his way out through my redstone ducts lol.
Edit: I was just looking at gamepedia pages for mincraft for a bit, it's like staring down the rabbit hole. My own solution of physically moving track about with pistons can be replaced by alternating the power state to a T junction piece with an RS latch for less visible clutter. I'm doomed.
