Is Grand Budapest hotel already out in Europe? I still have to wait for the 17th. Something to look forward too anyway.

I recently watched Gravity again since my parents are visiting from overseas. Good movie to show off a home theater and then complain about everything that's wrong with the movie. Then we ended up watching the NASA channel, footage of them preparing questions/answers interview with high school children. Reality is kinda sad, only people still interested in ISS are kids...

europe will get it in july i think. I watched a web-dl good quality better than dvd and I really enjoyed the movie.

I never was a fan of rocket science Im more in love with space, galaxies, black holes, quantum physics etc. its just sick how many theories we have about existence and how everything works. but I do love the live feed footage from the ISS maybe I'll catch an alien someday ..the footage is like from a 2megapixel camera they probably did it on purpose

Yup, really enjoying the new Cosmos series, last episode I saw he explained the message in Voyager 1, how it can be used to find us in mathemetical language and all the things that are on the record. It's supposed to last a billion years. I wonder what year we'll retrieve that thing and stick it in a museum, or let it go on forever.

That live feed.... maybe they have a bandwidth cap lol. But seriously switch to a 4K stream. Video quality choice between 240p and high. high in the late 90's maybe. This one isn't too bad http://www.n2yo.com/space-station/ it just flew over my province. It's going fast. You can see it fly by sometimes just after sunset. Bright dot tracking along the sky at a pretty good pace.

Cosmos is great but I do get a bit frustrated with all those history lessons school is over.. that footage is great thanks too bad you cant see the stars. did you know  that on voyager1 NASA  included a gold record with this song link this song is chosen to represent the human emotion of loneliness and theres also other stuff..I got this from Vsauce my favorite chanel on youtube. check out some videos im sure youll find something interesting.

heres one of my favorites.

Edge of Tomorrow

Fun a lot of action a bit comedy and those aliens just go for it... story was weak as expected but it doesnt need a good story to be a great summer blockbuster. ending was predictable didnt make a lot of sense but it felt good. because of the fun factor i give it...

The train, 7.5/10. Good old Burt Lancaster, he had a long career. Interesting movie, a giant effort to save paintings from being hauled away to Germany at the end of the war. It all looks great, lots of attention to detail and some awesome action scenes.

Immortals, 4/10. I wanted to give it a chance since Tarsem Singh made one of my favorite movies: The fall.
While the fall is one of the best looking blu-rays I know, Immortals is either dark or yellow with a video game look throughout. I had trouble keeping my eyes open through this endless cut scene. I still have to give it points for some great artwork (if you look past the yellow filter) the sound design and cool slow motion effects.

Space battleship Yamato (2010 live action) 3/10.

I dozed off somewhere in the middle, didn't bother to rewind either. This movie should not have been that long, by the end I was screaming 'get on with it' in my head, to stay awake. Waste of money (ie for me, fans of the series might still like it, I've never seen the series)
