I know, Nintendo were the first and only people to ever use those things, no one else used it before them.

Whats the innovation? The back touch pad? Or the two analoug sticks? The award needs to say why it won, what made it win.

...yeah because the ds line were the first gadgets to have those features
...can't say i'm surprised though, i pretty much expected the nintendo fans to hijack this thread from the beginning, you guys don't disappoint at all

I'm pretty sure Sony just didn't copy the AR and Gyro from Nintendo. Unless they had spy's of course... other than that I think it would be impossible for them to include those things in a such little time before the announcement of the Vita.
Here's again what I posted above:

The PSP Go won this award as well, two years ago.
Here's all other products from Sony which won the awards over the years:

Even Microsoft won a few of them over the years:

Unsuprisingly many Apple products got the award as well over the years:

It seems no Nintendo product won the award up to now. I think the Wii design would have deserved one, but that's just me.
This is going to be a long thread I'm afraid.
We all know that Sony ALWAYS copies Nintendo without exception and Nintendo ALWAYS is the first one to do anything without exception as well.
BTW, I don't hate Nintendo. But I do find the Nintendo fans on this particular forum to be pretty damn irritating. There are other places that have more level-headed Nintendo fans like Operation Rainfall.
"Naturally the common people don't want war: Neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, IT IS THE LEADERS of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is TELL THEM THEY ARE BEING ATTACKED, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. IT WORKS THE SAME IN ANY COUNTRY." --Hermann Goering, leading Nazi party member, at the Nuremberg War Crime Trials
Conservatives: Pushing for a small enough government to be a guest in your living room, or even better - your uterus.

The Wii, DS, and the upcoming Wii U should all win the awards. The DS was the first to market Touch screens and it also had that all new clamshell design with two screens, the Wii was the first to market motion control and is the most succesful, the Wii U's controller conept is very intriguing and can be used in compliment with the games on the big screen.
