lol my precise.
Edit lol precious.
I think at first glance it looks way better than the old one (but I really don't like the old one). It seems to be nice and simple, easy to use... I am assuming the comments system is not implemented yet, but if it is being taken out I imagine there will be backlash (not from me... see my last sentence)
There is a quite a lot of red though, kinda needs another colour.
Also dunno if it's just the font, but in the navigation bar all the i's look like l's
That said, just realised the new gamrReview won't be where the main game database is held so I won't be going there much (I don't read reviews on any site or magazine, no reason for me to here)

*sigh*
I guess that kinda stuff is inevitable.... although, actually I have no problem with those being options in general, it's just that in a lot of cases users are forced to use one of those account (usually FB) which pisses me off a lot (I recently made a new spotify account, not realising you are now forced to use a FB account, so I started making a new FB account... and you are now forced to tie that to a mobile phone number, I was so angry, and glad I started these things before these annoying restrictions came into play.)

It simply doesn't fit in with the new direction of either other site to be honest. I would have liked if gamrReview could go with GameWise but that's meant to be an aggregate site of sorts so having official reviews linked to it would seem like it was biased towards one review site over others. And VGChartz is meant to go back to a simpler time where it's solely about sales, so linking to that doesn't make much sense either.
Only option left was to make a separate site for gamrReview, which I'm very apprehensive about but we'll just have to see how it goes. Used to be noone read our reviews and they atleast get a 1000 or more hits now. If I have to go back to only 300-500 hits for each review it'll be just like the old days.

Members won't have accounts for gamrReview, and there will be no forums. The log-in is just for staff.

The good news is that the hits now are in unique hits rather than just total hits, so the 1000 hits we get now are an improvement over the 1000 hits we may have gotten under the old system.
I wonder if gamrReview will be able to keep itself afloat, but I suspect it will if we can produce interesting articles alongside our reviews.
