You need to sign up for a Disqus account (same thing used on sites like Engadget)... This is going by the 18 seconds I spent on the site to look up Rainbird's profile.

No I just commented just fine as a guest. Also you can go in under your twitter, facebook or google account as well.

*sigh*

I guess that kinda stuff is inevitable.... although, actually I have no problem with those being options in general, it's just that in a lot of cases users are forced to use one of those account (usually FB) which pisses me off a lot (I recently made a new spotify account, not realising you are now forced to use a FB account, so I started making a new FB account... and you are now forced to tie that to a mobile phone number, I was so angry, and glad I started these things before these annoying restrictions came into play.)
