N64 for me.

Extreme G, Goldeneye, Mario Kart 64, Zelda OoT, Super Mario 64 were just awesome for me. The analog stick felt so new! Well for all the 6 months the controller worked.

SNES definitely, though arguments can be made for the Wii and N64. The GameCube was essentially a Wii without the revolutionary control scheme or 2D Mario, and the NES, though important, has aged very poorly, even compared to the SNES.

If backwards comp does not count. The snes wins it easily. The snes is the only nintendo console that I have had and never felt shafted.

With bc probably the Wii because of what I have heard with the virtual console. N64 is the best though. Just behind the snes because of the great wrestling games

Glad people are picking the SNES. If I saw overwhelming Wii votes my heart would probably just stop.

(Not counting BC, only home consoles and only in terms of greatness)

The NES. Greatest Nintendo system of all time. Captured all existing segments at the time.

I voted Wii so Panama's heart would stop.

I feel like you have to not include BC in these discussions. Only the consoles actual games should be included, or the PS3 and Wii are the best consoles of all time by default.

And we all know the correct answer is the PS2 and SNES.

Although the SNES had games like Super Mario World, the first Mario Kart, Final Fantasy, Secret of Mana/Evermore and lots of other great games, I voted for the N64, because RARE games haven´t been anyway near as good ever since.
