GC had great 3rd party support first party games were good
NES classic
N64 Just madness, GE Mario 64, Smash, etc
Wii Dont care how much it sold, didnt really help the library. VC?? too bad not all games are available and they stopped supporting it ages ago. (WTF N64 section?) at least it plays GC

SNES was basically what the PSX or PS2 was. The perfect blend of First party and third party.

Nintendo + Rare + 3rd Parties + 1996 = SNES

So back then basically they were unstoppable so I would have to give it up to the SNES.

NINTENDO

nintendo forever . . .

Best "Nintendo" console of all time is really the best console of all time. SNES

In reality there was only one thing better than SNES in the 90's. The Chicago Bulls.

SNES, hands down, no competition. It had everything, EVERY GODDAMN THING. Best line up for games, it had all the classics that are still top tier games. I had the greatest time with this console and I wish I had it with me but i gave it to my half brother before moving to the U.S. Even most games were in all english, I still had a great time. Favorite game is Super Mario RPG. This game deserves a sequel more than any other game in SNES history. I've beaten it like 5 times and I still have love it. Congo's Caper, Goof troop, Top gear, Chrono trigger, TMNT 4: turtles in time, FF3 through 6, Secret of Mana, seiken dentetsu 3 (formerly known as Secret of Mana 2), Super Mario World, donkey kong country, Killer instinct  and so so so so so so so so so much more!!!!

I voted for the Virtual Boy.

SNES, great console, great games, and was top of the heap at the time.
Was also a big improvement on the NES in terms of graphics and control.

I was about to vote SNES, but then I thought about my memories playing Mega Man 2, Mario 3, Punch Out, Final Fantasy, etc. and realized I enjoyed the NES from beginning to end more than the SNES.

SNES>>>>>Wii>>NES>>>>N64>>>>>Gamecube

SNES was just the perfect console. It had so many awesome games from all over the spectrum. Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, Mario RPG, Secret of Mana, F-Zero, Zelda, Metroid, Chrono Trigger, Turtles in Time, Earthworm Jim, Yoshi's Island, Mario Kart, Kirby, Star Fox.. the list just goes on and on.

Gamecube, despite being part of my username, I'd have to say is the weakest of their consoles, not counting the abomination known as the Virtual Boy of course. It did have some quality niche type games like Tales of Symphonia, Eternal Darkness, and some gimmicky stuff like Donkey Konga and DK Jungle Beat, but overall its library was lacking in great games, from Nintendo, and from third parties. The mainline Zelda and Mario games on the platform were both dissapointing, though Metroid Prime was a surprise hit.
