The Cardinals are going to win it all again and I'm going to vomit.

the Giants are baseball. in evey way they are classic baseball. they have a rich history, and throughout it have done more, much more, with less.

they are the come back kids. they find ways to win games, with super subs, with reletively low payrolls every year.

whats not to like.

they are the very essense of classic baseball.

fixed

No posts lately?
So the Giants sweep the Tigers. Congrats to the Giants! Two championships in three years, wow!

I'm glad I had a chance to check out one of their games in SF when I was visiting home this past August.

Looks like I'm going to have to ask my family to pick me up a new hat, as I only have this one.

Yeah. Iost interest.

Same here.  It was both frustrating and boring that the Tigers just laid down and died.

I can't believe that the Giants won the Super Bowl again.

Feh, Marlins blow everything up with a salary dump. It's about on schedule, really. Just wish Florida residents were more careful putting their taxdollars into a billionaire's pet project.

Far more importantly, Bob Melvin won Manager of the Year!

Hey, I didn't see that you were bringing this thread back. I don't know how much I'll be commenting, but it's good to see.

You probably will here from me a little bit after the Blackhawks' and Bulls' seasons are over with.

The Cubs and Sox are both pretty crappy so far...

It is hard to have this thread with these two teams. Even my alma- mater is doing bad ( Mariners).

But Cubs and Sox record so far is horrible. I listened to the Sox game last night on the radio. 9th inning, failed to do what they had to do.

In fact, everyone but the Bulls, lost last night. Very bad night!

If it makes you feel any better, the White Sox have a chance of improving if their bullpen and hitting improve.  The Cubs, on the other hand, were finished before the season even started.

By the way, it was nice to see the Bulls respond the way that they did last night.  They are a bunch of gutsy guys considering all of the nagging injuries that they are dealing with.  I'm speaking about the guys who are actually playing, of course...
