I at least have some faith in the Sox. I do not know how you guys continue supporting the Cubs. Not too mention that tickets to the game are outrageous! Do we have that many rich people in Illinois that they can continue to charge such astronomical prices?

I haven't been to a Cubs game since Lou Pinella was managing but maybe I'm not a typical Cubs fan.

It's a good thing that the Blackhawks weren't eliminated from the playoffs. Otherwise the sporting news in Chicago would be about the White Sox dismal and uninspired performance in their series against the Cubs.

I actually watched some of the game yesterday and could not believe that the Cubs were hammering them by so much.

Seems like the only American Sports enthuisiasts here are from Illinois. So it is hard to get excited for sports. See how the hockey thread blew up when it involved the Hawks being huge this season? It is all on you and I.

The NFL thread does pretty well.  You should join the prediction league this year.  I think that the Seahawks are going to have a great season.

Contrary to popular belief, Rol doesn't dislike you.

Now that I am starting to read the sports section and get back into sports more, I just might. Football is the exception.

I have a cougars game to go to tonight. always a fun time. I have to trade in all the games I have skipped. I have about 40 tickets to trade in. Too much rain this year!11

Kane County?  I've yet to be to one of those.  You have season tickets?

I think that the Reds have a very good team.  I am not a fan of Dusty Baker though.

They finally learned to invest in pitching iwth guys like Latos and Cueto, even the wild Chapman is an asset.  On bats Choo pick up was good and Votto has MVP potential.  Great at home, struggle on the road.  I think Saint Louis might win the division so Pittsburgh is major concern right now for the wild card spot.

Yeah, their pitching is great.  Especially thje bullpen.  I think that they will finish ahead of the Pirates by the end of the season.
