TBH I've never really bought into the console exclusive - it's always been a way of trying to cut out another platform on cost and create what I believe is an artificial division between console/PC. I have a 360 and a PC. I have L4D, Mass Effect, etc. on PC. Having a 360 is not a requirement to have those games. An exclusive should mean not available anywhere else. But - I accept that a lot of people see some meaning in this arbritary division and it would be interesting to see the difference for 360 without those titles. |
This has always been my point, but I havent dropped my 360 yet because all my friends are on it and I dont have a amazingly powerful PC. The 360 is a poor mans PC providing you exclusives the PC once enjoyed because MS cant make hits of their own on a rate of the competition. Most of my PC friends have told me in conversations that the 360 isnt even an option since they take from PC and give back some of their "exclusives" so technically Microsoft only has three true exclusive franchises in Halo, Gears and Forza. Fable 3 and Alan Wake will join the fleet of 360/PC titles Microsoft has paid for.
