i know a lot of black people who dont really get offended by the N word

they say that it's just majorly awkward and that they might only act on it because so many people would expect them to

lets say you are in a classroom with 6 white kids, 5 asian, 5 spanish and like 4 black kids. lets say that 1 of the white kids says the N word by accident. what do you think will happen?

most likely everybody will immediately turn around and look at 1 of the black kids like "oh crap i wonder if he heard that" basically expecting the black kid to do something about it

i would say from my experiences that like 20% of black people dont give a damn about other races using the word "nigga" and the other 80% might get angry

In all seriousness, I think hispanics have it easy. The slurs beaners, wetbacks and spicks have never insulted me, giving the fact that I'm not mexican, central american or puerto rican. Still, not very insulting at all. Also like some mentioned, whites have always been "on top" of the food chain so to speak. You know slaving, pillaging, murdering, raping, and just overall being dicks over the course of history. I mean, we've all come a long way since then but open a history book and the truth is a nasty one. It's ok though, some of my friends are white :D

Actually, most history demonstrates that all groups were pretty nasty to each other; the difference is that western cultures have been a lot more open and less oppressive for centuries than many other societies, which has led to a far greater awareness of the atrocities that have occurred within these cultures.

Essentially, we know that European settlers hunted Native American tribes for sport in some regions in Canada because it was never suppressed from our history.

@HappySquirrel basically, it was everyone agaisnt everywhere as you say. Hence the "we've all." Ignorance was pretty common back then, so I'm not really pointing fingers. I mean the indigenous people were pretty brutal too and not just in north america. Human sacrifices, death over a ball game and a lot of other crazy stuff. I'd give ya some name but I don't know enough to start throwing out names.

Still, the europeans being the "most advance" or I guess modern society gave them a bit of an inflated ego and decided to start taking shit willy nilly. Speaking of supressed history, I heard in the news that some tea party members want to remove slavery from school history books to make america or the founding fathers look a little less evil, which I find ridiculous.
