i know a lot of black people who dont really get offended by the N word
they say that it's just majorly awkward and that they might only act on it because so many people would expect them to
lets say you are in a classroom with 6 white kids, 5 asian, 5 spanish and like 4 black kids. lets say that 1 of the white kids says the N word by accident. what do you think will happen?
most likely everybody will immediately turn around and look at 1 of the black kids like "oh crap i wonder if he heard that" basically expecting the black kid to do something about it

and actually black people took the N word and kinda embraced it

even white people use the word "nigga" now SOMETIMES lol. hell, ive even heard eminem use the word before(granted it was only once though in the song "NO LOVE")
i remember 50 cent(they are labelmates) said that he wouldnt care if eminem said the word around him

some mexicans dont even use "ese" anymore lol and i never really heard other races using that word before
i would say from my experiences that like 20% of black people dont give a damn about other races using the word "nigga" and the other 80% might get angry
